Special Points
This project, organized and run by local organizations is focused on trying to reduce the levels of poverty in the Yen Hung commune. This area is very close to the Ha Long Bay famous tourist attraction in Vietnam. This project is considered as one of the strategic targets for 2007 in the province. They have already targeted 100 of 200 families in need of homing for the 1-st step. Their houses would be swept away during the rainy season if they are not renovated. Alongside the building project there is always the need to help locals improve their English speaking skills by speaking with native speakers.
