Ladysmith High School of the School District of Ladysmith is a public high school with a desire to enhance students' international perspective.

Through a unique public/private partnership, the Ladysmith International Student Program offers high school students from around the world the opportunity to broaden their understanding of the world by experiencing the academic rigors of an outstanding American public school education in a caring and supportive setting.

In partnership with the Mount Senario Education Center, a former four-year college, students are provided housing and dining on their campus in their dormitory.

The dorm houses only students from the International Student

Program, is fully supervised with a live-in RA, and has separate wings for boys and girls with a maximum capacity of 160 students.

Rooms are assigned for 1-2 students, with shared bath facilities on each floor of each wing. As part of the International program, students are taken on a variety of cultural field trips throughout the year.

Supporting and enhancing the student's experience at Ladysmith are host families from the community who spend time with students outside of school, facilitating transportation, involvement in school and community activities, and are there to provide a supportive environment during weekends and holidays.
