This area is very close to the Sapa famous tourist attraction in Vietnam. This project is considered as one of the strategic targets for underprivileged families in Lao Cai province. They have already targeted hundreds of families in need of homing for the 1-St step. Their houses would be swept away during the rainy season and cold weather if they are not renovated.
